Nearly five years residing in LA, we're both slowly realizing that there are so many hidden places that our backyard has to offer. Though in the past years, we have been literally shutting ourselves at home with school works, sponsors, and YouTube projects... I think it's about time we should come out of our comfort zone. We both love the idea of traveling and being inspired, but never really did. But we're finally beginning to explore and discover what this beautiful city has to offer. Only about two years left until we are off this city; we need to make the best out of it.

A Special Day

DIY Clutch Bag YouTube Tutorial
Alexander McQueen is one of our favorite designers and when we saw the McQueen's De Manta Clutch bag, we had to make one for ourselves. The clutch bag has this unusual hexagonal shape, and it's slouchy but not too unstructured, which is ideal for holding large amount of things. We decided to use satin as a main fabric, but used heavy weighted denim as a lining to give a bit of structure.

Along with the clutch bag, I'm wearing a bright orange dress from Oarry. We chose this particular dress because it looks like a halter dress from the front, but it actually has crisscross straps at the back. The dress holds versatility as it can be worn for graduation, prom, dinner-date, and maybe even for a wedding as a bridesmaid dress! If you want to cover up a bit, simply toss on a blazer or cardigans on top just like how Qjin did! YouTube Tutorial of DIY Asymmetrical Wrap Skirt
 If you follow fashion bloggers, you might've noticed at least one of them wearing Zara's asymmetrical wrap skort. We fell in love with the wrapping detail, so we decided to take full advantage of it and created our own version of wrap skirt with little twist by adding a metallic zipper. By the way, we've coordinated three looks of the skirt with items provided by buy3a,com, so definitely check their website!

When choosing the fabric, try going for fabric that has a bit of elasticity for an extra comfort. For us, we went with denim fabric with generous amount of spandex that allowed us to move our legs freely inside the skirt. We also recommend trying silver metal zipper rather than a gold. Aim-high and dream big!

Off My Shoulders

DIY YouTube Tutorial
 It's been a long time since our last DIY and with one of our major exams finished, we finally got the time to film our DIYs! We have been witnessing a lot of tropical prints and thought it would be perfect for summer vacation, especially at the beach or anywhere that is hot and need something that is airy and light, but yet fashion forward. Matching prints for tops and bottom is also one of the ongoing trend currently, so we thought this would be a great chance to combine these two trends. By the way, the necklace is from Shop Lately. Gorgeous as it is!

Do you guys know Kharisma from YouTube? If you don't, then you're totally missing out! He is an extremely talented artist from Australia who we first found about his music around 2 years ago. There have been few trends that were going around in fashion, namely the monochrome stripes, checkered details, as well as nature prints. So we decided to try out these trends with few pieces that were provided by Sheinside. All the links to the garments are on the description box of our YouTube video, so definitely check em' out!

Shorts are must have in hot season, and the stripes made it even better. We loved how it's so stretch and comfortable. To keep the outfit in monochrome, we decided to go with simple chiffon black top with black wedge heel. But we added a bit of color with gold chain necklace from H&M.

Claws & Cut-Outs

 So here is the third outfit from our recent Bold & Statement Outfit Ideas video on YouTube. We especially love this top from SammyDress because of its interesting cut-outs on the elbow and the hem. To exaggerate the unsual hem design, I wore white jeans instead of my normal blue jeans. In an effort to camouflage my short leg... I wore nude colored stiletto from H&M. On top of that, because the overall outfit was in monochrome, I decided to give some pop of colors through accessories such as with my yellow bag and this awesome claw ring.

We're extremely glad to receive so many positive feedback about our current outfit ideas video. Now we're super encouraged to release another outfit video next week. What do you guys think? ay? any? :) xx

Summer is finally here in California! So why not share an outfit ideas with you guys. We personally think that bold print tops are the easiest way to achieve variety of looks. By simply changing from converse to stilettos, IT can complete divert the overall atmosphere.

I'm wearing this bold print top with short distressed denim jeans, which is the choice of outfit I typically go for. To give extra length to my height, I folded the hem of the pants; and for the shoes, I went with these skin-tone colored wedge heels which seems to be the best alternatives for creating elongated effect.
